ABOUT OUR PARTNERSHIP

MAIN COORDINATOR'S WELCOME

Dear Teammates,

I must say that, we are really contender, industrious and terrific teachers who come from eight different countries (Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Portugal, France, Spain and Latvia). As combative teachers, we worked hard and we won this great race. We have earned this European Union Project which is difficult to achieve by working in big cooperation, harmony and perseverance. As you know, we will try to use an innovative and student-centred pedagogical education model - Flipped Learning - during the implementation period of the project. I hope we will increase the quality of teaching and learning in our schools via this project. Beside this, I believe that this project not only will improve our students' success but also will provide great experience for them. Now, it is time to work more and produce high quality outcomes for our students, our schools and our education system.

I am sending thanks to all my teammates and I wish you more success.

Sincerely,

Our Aims

The rationale for this project is to use ICT based Flipped Learning which is an innovative and student-centred pedagogical approach to increase the quality of teaching and learning in our schools via; (1) improving the quality of service of better learning outcomes, (2) flourishing the student’s self-paced learning, (3) fostering students’ own learning independently from time and place. “Student Perceptions of the Flipped Classroom” is a research whose main purpose was to provide teachers who are considering flipping their classes with feedback from a student’s perspective. This study focused on student perceptions of the Flipped Classroom experience in mathematics setting. The research concludes that the majority of students enjoyed the Flipped Classroom and believed it supported their learning deeply. This research revealed that students made significant progress in the three development areas mentioned above. In this project, we want to apply Flipped Learning using ICT tools to improve the effectiveness of Flipped Learning to support our students’ learning more effectively. Beside this by the mediation of combining Flipped Learning with ICT we want to manage; (4) improving student and teacher digital literacy and (5) creating a uniform digital learning environment within schools. Our project will seek to address the above five identified development areas by implementing Flipped Learning on ICT platforms; in this way we hope to increase motivation of both our students and teachers, enhance academic success,  improve social skills of our students, make our students love their school and lessons so reducing early school leaving and take development of our schools’ teaching and learning a step further.
